A digital media mate needs help!

Wednesday, November 19th, 2008

HI today I got the following email by a digital media mate.

Dear all,

I am developing prototype of a web-based film terminology glossary, based on the former master project from Hochschule Bremerhaven called ACT! (www.act-project.de). In ACT! project, we developed an audiovisual film glossary DVD which visualized film terms in different media: video, picture, animation and illustration. For the sake of sharing and to expand the capability of film glossary, I am interested in developing ACT! in web platform.

As basis in developing a usable application, I would like to gather user’s requirements regarding features and content structure. For that purpose, I’m spreading out surveys around to potential users.

If you do not mind, please fill out my survey. The questionnaire consists of short questions and will only take a few minutes.

Here is the link to my survey:
http://vita.inf.hs-bremerhaven.de/~vputri/limesurvey/index.php?sid=92542&lang=en

If you have another person who are likely related to this subject, it would be really great if you forward the survey to that person too.

Your participation in the survey will really help to complete my thesis.
Thank you in advance and I hope you will achieve much success in your study.

kindly regards,

Vita Amanda Putri

Same start, as usual ?

Wednesday, October 8th, 2008

So, the new term has already started.

In fact you didn´t recognized – I´m a senior in the undergraduate program, currently writing my thesis.

Besides that full-time effort I waste my time with such unimportant stuff as to moderate a group related to our digital media degree course in the evil StasiVZ StudiVZ. It´s quite not a big thing, but as usual – with every new term – some voices arise.

Monday, September 22nd, 2008

i just saw that the schedule of lectures for the upcoming term is online. on the first sight it is not too interesting for me. a lot of lectures are the same (or similar) to what was offered in the last 2 semesters. at least one frieder nake lecture in a module that i still need is offered (semiotic aspects of media, tuesday, m-102). so i am fine :)

at the moment i still miss the descriptions of a lot of lectures, but in the last terms the schedule was updated a few times…
